The commercial success of the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow is expected to reverberate throughout the UK’s aerospace manufacturing sector for years to come, with more than £62.9 billion of aircraft and engine orders announced during the first four days of the exhibition and an estimated £10.8 billion contribution to the UK economy.

According to ADS, Farnborough generated 353 firm aircraft orders and 904 firm engine orders, with agreements involving Airbus, Boeing, Embraer, GE Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney and CFM International underlining continued confidence in the global aerospace market.
