Birmingham-based precision engineering specialist Rowan Precision has confirmed its return to Southern Manufacturing & Electronics in 2027, with the company preparing to showcase its advanced CNC machining capabilities and meet customers from across the UK’s manufacturing industries.
The company will exhibit on Stand K190, continuing its longstanding commitment to one of the UK’s leading manufacturing exhibitions and providing an opportunity to discuss new engineering projects, production requirements and developments in precision machining.
With more than 40 years of manufacturing experience, Rowan Precision supplies high-quality CNC machined components and turned parts to customers across aerospace, medical, automotive, electronics and other specialist industries. Glenn Aston, Chief Financial Officer at Rowan Precision, said the exhibition remains an important fixture in the company’s commercial calendar.
“Southern Manufacturing is always an excellent opportunity to meet people who share our enthusiasm for British engineering. We’ve built some very good relationships through the exhibition over the years, and we’re looking forward to returning in 2027.
“There’s something particularly valuable about meeting customers face to face, discussing their engineering challenges and understanding where our machining capabilities can support their future programmes.”
Operating from its Birmingham manufacturing facility, Rowan Precision has developed an extensive range of CNC machining capabilities, including advanced sliding head machining and twin-spindle fixed head CNC mill-turn technology. The company’s investment in multi-axis manufacturing equipment enables the production of intricate components to demanding tolerances, supporting customers requiring consistent quality across both specialist and volume production programmes.
Its manufacturing operations are supported by internationally recognised AS9100, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 accreditations, reflecting the quality management requirements of the aerospace, medical and wider engineering sectors. Aston believes the exhibition offers an opportunity to demonstrate the depth of technical expertise available within Britain’s established precision engineering supply chain.
“British manufacturing has an enormous amount of capability, particularly among specialist engineering businesses that have invested consistently in their people, equipment and quality systems.
“At Rowan Precision, we’ve spent decades developing the expertise required to manufacture increasingly complex components. Southern Manufacturing gives us an opportunity to demonstrate that capability and explore the projects that will shape our customers’ requirements in the years ahead.”
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics brings together manufacturers, technology providers, engineering specialists and procurement professionals from across the industrial supply chain. For Rowan Precision, the 2027 exhibition will provide a platform to engage with existing customers and introduce its precision CNC machining services to businesses seeking established UK manufacturing partners.
Aston added: “We’re very proud of our manufacturing heritage in Birmingham and the relationships we’ve developed with customers across different industries. Exhibitions like Southern Manufacturing allow us to strengthen those connections and hear directly from engineers and buyers about their plans.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to Stand K190, catching up with familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones.”
