Martin Barker | MD

A chosen career in the Civil service, as a Customs and Excise Officer, was sabotaged and redirected into engineering by my father. After a successful apprenticeship, working in his toolroom, I was rewarded with a directorship and the opening, and management of a subsidiary automatic turned parts factory. This challenging venture inspired the creation of my own company in 1982 and the subsequent birth of Rowan Precision Ltd in 1984. The honesty, integrity and morality of "Team Rowan" has always been the driving force behind our success, and continues to make me immensely proud!

Glenn Aston | FD

A confident and commercially astute Finance Director with over 30 years’ experience in manufacturing covering a varied range of industries. Has an in-depth knowledge of applying best practice methods and controls, along with a strong reputation for skilful negotiations and business improvement. Adopts a ‘Hands-on’ approach and is very much a team player, building customer relationships, both internal and external. A family-oriented person with a keen interest in all sport, primarily football and a lover of dogs with 3 German Shepherds

With 30 years of dealing with manufacturing clients, whilst at NatWest, HSBC and Barclays, Jaz brings financial and commercial flavour to the team. Always keen to understand businesses and how they can help, develop, and grow, Jaz brings this perspective to Rowan Precision, guiding the team on how can we help our customers grow and develop by making use of our engineering, design, and manufacturing talents.

A valued member of "Team Rowan", Karen has worked for the company for 31 years working in various roles, to her current dual position of Operations Director and Quality Manager. Manufacturing and Engineering has been at the forefront of her career with vast experience across all sectors including Automotive, Aerospace and Medical. Now a campervan owner, she is currently enjoying exploring all the adventures that brings.

Matt Lowe | Technical Director

With a wealth of experience in working with the aerospace and defence industries, leading teams in a number of companies, Matt is our key technical team lead. Knowledge of Solidworks, CAMWorks & Fusion360 programs assist the programming of fixed head, sliding head and vertical machining centres. As an experienced machinist with extensive product, tooling & work-holding design, as well as CADCAM, there is little that Matt cannot resolve!

Neil Williams | Technical Sales Manager

From early beginnings in the non ferrous forging industry as a CNC machinist, Neil has worked in the manufacturing industry all his working life. Using his experience in collaborating with designers, engineers and purchasing teams to develop products, Neil works collaboratively to get the best for the customer. Neil has worked with a wide range of customers, from agricultural and commercial vehicle manufacturers, aerospace, subsea to yellow goods and motorsport specialists. Neil also handles all enquiries, both domestic and export, including to the EU and USA
