Rowan Precision appoints a new Head of Production
ISO9001:2015 (Quality Management System), AS9100 (Aerospace Quality Standard) and ISO13485 (Medical Standard) accredited Precision CNC Engineers, Rowan Precision Limited, has appointed a new Head of Production, George Wheeldon, to oversee the production process and be part of the future growth and development.
Based at Rowan Precision’s factory in Witton, Birmingham, George will be part of the senior team to assist with the company’s growth strategy.
George has extensive knowledge and experience of the industry and has previously held similar management positions. George is very much a ‘people’ person which was a key attribute of the recruitment process as “Team Rowan” is further developed.
Mr. Wheeldon is very customer-focused and is determined to ensure that Rowan delivers on its On-Time Delivery Performance in both quality and time.
He commented “I am delighted to have joined Rowan Precision, my ambition & goal is to streamline production with a big emphasis on teamwork. I believe very strongly that the biggest asset to a business is the people & I am excited to see what the future holds as we all work together to help Rowan evolve and expand. I will support each individual employee’s career goals whilst keeping a focus on ‘TEAM ROWAN’ and collectively look to upskill internally as newer technology becomes available.”
Glenn Aston, Rowan Precision’s Chief Financial Officer, added “The recruitment process was a little longer than first anticipated however we were determined to get the right person on-board and were willing to ‘play the long game’ to find the right fit. Assisted by Jarrod Hill of Team Support Group we believe that we have delivered. George will use his knowledge and experience to help Rowan on its’ growth and development plans.
